Firstly it is important to consider that Herz wasn't trying to make adocumentary movie, but only a fiction merely based on a true story. Thenames, places and events were changed in this movie in comparison withwhat really happened in small Sudeten village Bludov 65 years ago. Themovie is full of emotions and up to the present day unsolved questionsof what was really happening between Czechs and Germans in 1930's and40's and who was responsible for all the disasters which happened then.I also enjoyed very good actors, especially Karel Roden, Czech actorwho is known from plenty of Hollywood movies including Hellboy orBourne Supremacy. I can recommend this movie to all who are interestedin history.
